Goal of the project:
The South Baltic Region project RES-Chains is a cooperation between five countries: Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden.
RES-Chains aims at identifying sustainable renewable energy source chains (RES-Chains) to encourage sustainable development within the South Baltic Region. Our main focus is on biomass, biogas, solar power, wind power and hydro power.
RES-Chains partners and other stakeholders have formed a cross-border network within the South Baltic Region. The main focus is on biomass, biogas, solar power, wind power and hydro power through:
-Dissemination of jointly elaborated promotion material on RES-Chains issues
-Supporting each other with advice, consultancy and exchange of know-how
-Taking part in the regular international exchanges between the network members
-Development and implementation of joint regional, transnational projects
-Providing expertise for provincial, national, and regional authorities when required
-Extending the network by involving valuable new parties
